Your admissions welcome email will also contain your login information for My Portal, where you can access your student email, Canvas, Self-Service, and other important information. Follow the directions in the email to log into My Portal or watch our My Portal Login Tutorial.

Students who have never taken college classes after graduating high school/receiving their GED are required to complete an online orientation before registering.
Complete the online orientation at www.scccd.edu/orientation. The orientation can also be accessed in My Portal in the “Resource Links” section.
You will need to know your SCCCD login information to enroll in the course and complete this orientation. It may take 1 to 2 business days to clear your orientation hold. If you do not know your login information, visit the Technology Help webpage for assistance.

Meet with a counselor who will help you determine the appropriate courses to take and develop a Student Education Plan (SEP).
Clovis Community College counselors utilize an assessment process that includes measure criteria for initial course placement in alignment with AB705/AB1805, which ensures our students' right to access transfer level coursework in English and Math. Once you receive an email with your assigned registration date, you can register for classes online using Self-Service. Log in to My Portal to access Self-Service to register for classes. For full details and instructions on how to register, visit the Registration Help webpage .
