What if I need to make a change or an adjustment on a previously filed return?

Most Personal Income Tax Returns and Business Tax Returns can be changed or amended on myPATH. Changes or adjustments to your return may result in an increase or decrease in taxes owed.

To Amend a Personal Income Tax Return :

1. Access the myPATH homepage
2. Scroll down past the black log in box to the Return panel
3. Select the hyperlink File a Personal Income Tax Return
4. Select the tax period that needs amended and answer Yes to the question Are you amending your return? in the Identity Verification section.

To Amend a Business Return:

1. Log into myPATH
2. From the Summary Tab, select the hyperlink View Returns and Periods
3. Select the Return that needs correction.
4. Select the Amend link in the top right hand corner
